چکیده
Abstract Adsorption of heavy metals by affordable adsorbents has recently become one the most often applied method for removing these from contaminated water. The purpose this study was to evaluate efficacy using raw date nuclei (RDN) as a natural and inexpensive adsorbent remove Zn ions water reduce its impact on quality, bioaccumulation levels in fish organs, growth performance, some physiological aspects common carp ( Cyprinus carpio ) under sublethal concentrations. Five experimental groups were examined eight weeks; CNT, control group rearing clean water; RDN 0 , Zn-contaminated 3 treated with g RDN/L; 4.5 6 RDN/L. Water quality measures monitored continuously manner without excreta or renewing results showed that concentration alone significantly elevated level antioxidant biomarkers (SOD, superoxide dismutase; GST, glutathione transferases; GPX, peroxidase; CAT, catalase MDA, malondialdehyde), declined increased Zn-accumulation organs (gills flesh) ammonia secretions ponds compared group. concentrations RDN-containing aquariums lower than RDN-free aquariums, removal polluted dependent dosage. Consequently, performance serum bio-indicators enhanced presence reared In conclusion, although caused toxicity C. at levels, treating dosage per liter effectively prevented oxidative stress harmful impacts exposure.

Effect of water current on some growth performance and water quality in a closed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) culture system
The effects of water current increment on rainbow trout ( Oncorhynchus mykiss ) culture were investigated during a 35 day experiment. Fish weighing 5.5 g were stocked in aquarium tanks. Four different water speeds (0, 3.5, 7, 10.5 cm/s) were provided for each treatment in three replicates. These different currents water were provided by reusing outlet water of each culture unit...
متن کاملEffect of indomethacin on the oxidative stress of Cyprinus carpio using of biomarkers
In recent years, drugs have been identified as newly emerging and threatening the aquatic and terrestrial environments. Accordingly, in this study, the effect of indomethacin on oxidative stress in Cyprinus carpio was investigated. In order to determine the LC50, the fishes were exposed to various concentrations of indomethacin and daily losses were recorded during hours. In the next step, the ...
